WhistlePig Old World 12 Year is part of a series of Whiskeys produced in Vermont to commemorate the Harvest of the Whistle pig. This Straight Rye Whisky is produced with a mash bill of corn malted barely and extra rye to impart a spicier tone all through out the whiskey. It has profound aromas of peach, spearmint, caramel and oak on the nose. The palate expands into tropical notes of fruits, and cocoa mingled with licorice. The finish is long and smooth with hints of grapefruit, clove and honey.
