Ichiro’s Malt & Grain Chichibu Blended Whisky

Ichiro’s Malt and Grain is a blend consisting of 'a heart of Japanese whisky complimented by the major whiskies of the world,' which includes whisky from Scotland, Ireland, and from here in the U.S. These foreign whiskies are aged in their place of origin for anywhere from three to five years, then are aged on-site for another one to three years in Chichibu, the home distillery of Ichiro. This whisky has a gentle, elegant profile, with notes of vanilla, orange, and apple on the nose, with toffee, pear and plums on the finish. Pretty, interesting stuff—an Epcot Center whisky.
