Murray Hill Club Special Release is a blended bourbon whiskey from Jos. A. Magnus & Co. of Holland, Michigan, combining 8 and 17 year old bourbons distilled from a mash of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. After blending, the whiskey is finished for four months in hand-selected Calvados casks imported from the Normandy region of France, adding notes of apple, pear, and orchard fruit to the classic bourbon profile. The nose offers caramel apple, toasted oak, vanilla, and dried fruit, while the palate carries cinnamon spice, cooked berries, chocolate-covered cherries, and candied nuts, finishing smooth with a lingering hint of orchard fruit. Bottled at cask strength, 55.5% ABV (111 proof). A limited special release, ideal for collectors and bourbon enthusiasts.
