The Colonel Armstrong Wheated Bourbon from Redwood Empire is a four-grain, high-wheat bourbon that blends the distillery's own California-distilled spirit with select high-wheat bourbons sourced from Kentucky and Indiana, aged four to fourteen years. Wheat makes up 30% of the mash bill, more than double most wheated bourbons, giving it a soft, rounded profile with notes of ripe stone fruit, honeyed grain, vanilla, and gentle baking spice. Deep golden in color, bottled at 47% ABV (94 proof). Named for Colonel James Armstrong, who helped preserve the Northern California redwoods that now bear his name.
