This straight rye whiskey is an exclusive single barrel selection chosen for Cypress Craft Beer & Liquor, part of Subtle Spirits' single barrel program, Volume 4. The whiskey was distilled in Indiana and hand selected from Barrel No. 48, yielding just 123 bottles, of which this is bottle No. 50. It was aged 10 years and 8 months before being bottled on 7/15/26 at cask strength, 113.3 proof (56.65% ALC/VOL), by Subtle Spirit Co. in Ukiah, California. Bottled without dilution, this rye showcases the bold spice and depth that comes from over a decade of barrel aging. Expect notes typical of a well-aged high proof rye: baking spice, dark caramel, oak tannin, and a warming, long finish. Best enjoyed neat or with a single large ice cube to gently open up the aromatics. Each bottle features original label art by Jason Lois.
