Teeling Pot Still Virgin Portuguese Oak Wonders of Wood Second Ed

The second edition of Teeling's Wonders of Wood series explores the effects of oak from different regions on whiskey, this time looking towards the trees of the Iberian Peninsula. This special release is made with equal parts malted and unmalted barley, distilled at the company’s Dublin-based distillery and matured exclusively in virgin Portuguese oak barrels. The result is an expression with notes of high tannins, toasted wood, savoury marmalade, ripe red fruits and berries, and burnt sugar.
