This stunning cask strength whisky celebrates Master Distiller Billy Walker's 50-year whisky career.
It marks Glenallachie’s first-ever peated release and the first distillate under Billy Walker's ownership of The GlenAllachie Distillery. Showcasing future possibilities, this expression features a long 160-hour fermentation, creating a rich fruity spirit. It's matured in a mix of former Rye and Bourbon barrels and virgin oak casks.
Made with mainland peat, this amber-coloured whisky presents a distinct smoky-sweet flavour, combining sweet cinnamon apples and intense oak.
It has notes of dried fruits, hazelnut, toasted almonds, dark chocolate, cinnamon apples, vanilla, honey and pears and comes at an awesome strength of 60.2%.
It is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
There are only 10,000 bottles in existence worldwide.
